Bora joined Duncan Lewis in January 2012 and is currently a caseworker in the Mental Health Law Team at the Harrow office.
Bora graduated from Ankara University Law School. He completed his LLM in International Human Rights Law at Essex University. He studied at Edinburgh University Faculty of Law and completed an additional postgraduate programme on Scots Law, as part of the European Young Lawyers Scheme. He practiced as an advocate in the Turkish jurisdiction and also taught Human Rights and Constitutional Law at Baskent University, Turkey as a researcher.
Bora is a non-practicing barrister and a member of Grey’s Inn. He read his Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP Law School Manchester and then pursued his studies in the Bar Vocational Course at BPP Law School London.
He participated as an instructor in several human rights projects such as OSCE Human Rights Projects in Central Asia and various human rights training projects at the Ankara Bar, Turkey.
Bora has also worked for the Free Representation Unit and Citizens Advice Bureau on a voluntary basis. Additionally he assisted a member of the House of Lords as PA in an unpaid capacity.
