Susan joined Duncan Lewis in October 2011 and is qualified under the Law Society’s Immigration & Asylum Scheme as a Level 1 accredited caseworker. This qualification certifies that Susan is able to provide good quality legal services within the category of Immigration, Asylum and Nationality law.

Susan successfully completed an undergraduate degree in Law, which included a year long work placement at Saunders Law Partnership a specialist criminal Law firm in 2009, where she obtained a Diploma in Professional practice.

Since joining Duncan Lewis, Susan has dealt with a variety of immigration matters concerning Asylum, EEA law, Entry Clearance applications and Human rights issues. Susan has also undertaken Pro Bono work at Duncan Lewis, providing drop in clients with one off legal advice.

Susan’s passion for charitable causes led her to Ghana in 2010 to work in an orphanage for 4 weeks.

Susan was attracted to Duncan Lewis, not only because of the firm’s reputation or the opportunity to gain practical experience in various areas of the law, but because of the firm’s mission statement to “give people a voice”, which is the primary reason for why Susan decided to study law.

In her spare time Susan enjoys singing in the London Youth Gospel Choir and undertaking creative projects.
