Immigration

Sangita was promoted to Head of Department / Director in June 2008 in the Immigration department at the Hackney Office.

At her previous firm Sangita was involved in setting up and the running of pro-bono clinics at local advisory services/walk-in centres. She was also involved in all aspects of training trainees and less experienced staff, including delivery of training courses.

After leaving her previous firm Sangita continued to supervise the dept as an external supervisor for 6 months.

She is a member of Law Society, ILPA, and Refugee Council.

Sangita specialises in all aspects of immigration law including deportation appeals, bail, detained cases, fast track cases, entry clearance applications and appeals. She also specialises in asylum and nationality law, human rights law and represents people both in and out of the UK.
