Precious, qualified solicitor admitted in 2005, is an experienced member of out Immigration department of Duncan Lewis and is based at our Shepherds Bush branch. Precious has achieved Level 2 Senior Caseworker and Supervisor IASS accreditation. Precious specialises in asylum and general migration matters and as much experience in assisting vulnerable clients with their immigration matters in detention centres and victims of domestic violence. Precious works closely with the GAIA Centre, a Lambeth Borough Council Voluntary organisation that assists Domestic Violence Victims.

As a solicitor and an accredited Immigration Supervisor, Precious has attended internal and external courses and is increasingly adept at 'cascading' legal developments to her team and the immigration department as a whole. Some of her duties as a supervisor include conducting file reviews and appraisals, perusing letters prepared by my supervisees, opening mail and drawing urgent and important matters and deadlines to their attention. As a solicitor, Precious specialises in the areas of student visa applications and appeals, marriage appeals, EEA application, Asylum applications and appeal, fresh asylum applications and deportation. In addition, she has dealt chiefly with Court of Appeal cases, notably a Zimbabwean case in 2004 of which appeal was allowed by the said Court. In 2007 she chiefly dealt with a judicial review case at High Court level that was allowed and a fresh asylum application subsequently substituted.

She has represented many of our clients in their respective asylum and entry clearance appeals at the Asylum Immigration Tribunal and has been successful in many.
