Iffat graduated in 2008 with an LLB Hons from Thames Valley University in 2010. She completed her LPC part-time at BPP Law School.
In February 2011, Iffat joined Duncan Lewis as work experience in the Conveyancing Department, which lasted for 8 weeks. At the end of her work experience placement, she was offered a position in Immigration Department as a Caseworker, due to her hardworking and conscientious nature.
Iffat would like to specialise in Immigration in the future and has previously worked with Asian Women's Group and local CABs.
For the last five years Iffat has worked as an interpreter for Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi languages.
