Gurpreet Chaddha joined Duncan Lewis in January 2008 as a Solicitor in the Immigration Department. He did the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test and was admitted as a solicitor in 2004.

Gurpreet is qualified under the Law Society's Immigration and Asylum Accreditation scheme as a Senior Caseworker, which allows him to specialise in Immigration and Nationality law and provide legal help for publicly funded work under the firm's Legal Services Commission franchise.

He specialises in Asylum and Immigration appeals, Asylum applications; general immigration matters such as entry clearance appeals, Domestic violence applications, in-country visa applications, family reunion and Nationality matters. He represents detained clients with their asylum applications under Fast track scheme. He also represents clients before the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal.

Gurpreet has successfully represented clients in Managed Migration appeals (Tier 1) before the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal. He has experience as an Advocate in India.

Gurpreet is fluent in Punjabi and Hindi.
