Beri joined Duncan Lewis in February 2011 and is currently a caseworker in the Immigration Detention Team at the Dalston office. Beri previously worked as a caseworker at the Refugee and Migrant Justice between 2001 and 2010. Beri has had over ten years experience dealing with vulnerable clients seeking protection in the UK. Beri has worked extensively with Asylum Seeking Children and women who have been victims of trafficking.
Beri read law at the University of Lagos and then Nigerian Law School where she obtained a 2:1. She was called to the Nigerian Bar in December 1996 and to the Cameroonian Bar in February 1999.
She is qualified as a Level 2 Senior caseworker and a Supervisor under the Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme.
