Amanda joined Duncan Lewis in January 2012 as a caseworker in the Immigration Department at the Harrow Office.

Amanda graduated from Brunel University with an LLB in Law (Hons) after which, Amanda went on to study the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Bloomsbury branch. Whilst at the College of Law, Amanda undertook probono work in Housing Law and was successful in an unfair dismissal claim at the Employment tribunal.

Following completion of her legal studies Amanda went on to gain experience in Family and Property Law. Amanda also obtained extensive experience in Criminal Law and have worked on a number of cases including murder cases, rapes and drug supply cases. She was also involved in a high profile robbery case which culminated in the death of city lawyer Tom ap Rhys Pryce Rv Vassel and others (2007). This was the first case in UK history where the defendants were convicted solely on the basis of cctv evidence, thus gaining Amanda a notable reputation in the field.

Amanda was attracted to Duncan Lewis because of its diversity in the areas of law practised and capacity for career progression. Amanda aspires to attain her Training Contracts with Duncan Lewis.

In her spare time Amanda is actively engaged in community initiatives at her local church, with an emphasis on youth interaction and mentoring young people who face social exclusion.

Amanda also enjoy going to the theatre, reading, baking and hiking in her spare time.
