Muhammad graduated in law from London Metropolitan University in 2007. Muhammad then completed his LPC at the same University on a part-time in 2009.

Muhammad joined Duncan Lewis in November 2010 as a Trainee Solicitor in the Detention Centre / Fast Track team within the Immigration department at the Hackney office. Muhammad qualified as a Solicitor in September 2011 and is currently specialising in Immigration law. Since joining the firm, Muhammad has extended his knowledge and interpersonal skills and he very much likes to continue working for the firm on a long term.

Muhammad is qualified under the Law Society's Immigration & Asylum Accreditation Scheme as a Senior Caseworker, which allows him to specialise in Immigration & Nationality law and provide specialist legal help for publicly funded work under the firm's Legal Services Commission franchise.

Muhammad assists with representations to the Home Office; preparing, lodging and representing appeals and bail application to the Asylum & Immigration Tribunal. Muhammad also assists clients who are on the Harmondsworth and Yarlswood Fast Track Scheme and this involves representing detained clients with their asylum applications.

Muhammad is fluent in the Bengali language. Muhammad also speaks Hindi and Urdu languages.
