Sari studied for my LLB (Hons) at South Bank University from 1998-2001 and attained a 2.1. She then completed the Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law in 2002 as very competent. Sari then continued her studies and did a Masters at East London University and gained a merit in International Human Rights.
Sari first joined Duncan Lewis in 2003 in the immigration department. She stayed with the firm until 2005. She then rejoined Duncan Lewis in April 2010 because of the firms reputation in legal aid.
Sari's specialises in immigration, asylum and human rights. She carries out all types of Immigration work, legal aid and private. In particular, she has experience with many minor Asylum Seekers, and she conducts her own advocacy before the Tribunal (First -Tier and Upper). Sari has also conducted many deportation appeals etc.
She is a member of the Human Rights Lawyers Association and a Co-optee of the Management Committee of the Refugee (Community) Centre for Refugees from Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia ("VLC") and attend Management Committee meetings.
Sari speaks fluent Finnish and Swedish and basic German.
