Ina joined Duncan Lewis in November 2011 and is qualified under the Law Society’s Immigration & Asylum Accreditation Scheme as a Level 1 accredited caseworker. This allows her to specialise in Immigration & Nationality law and provide specialist legal help for publicly funded work under the firm’s Legal Services Commission franchise.

After having read Law with European Studies at Southampton Solent University and successfully completing a postgraduate diploma in Legal Practice at Westminster Universsity, Ina has gained comprehensive knowledge and practical experience of Immigration Law, Human Rights and a more distinct interest in EEA Law through a four-month work experience scheme with a law firm in Sofia, Bulgaria in 2008.

Ina is currently writing a Master's dissertation in Legal Practice with the University of Westminster, focusing on EEA Law and Intellectual Property.

Since joining Duncan Lewis, Ina has dealt with a variety of immigration matters concerning Nationality Law, EEA citizens and family members, Asylum, Entry clearance applications, and Human rights issues. Ina has also undertaken Pro Bono work with the University of Westminster and Duncan Lewis, providing one off advice sessions with drop in clients.

Ina speaks Bulgarian fluently and has intermediate knowledge of French Ina was attracted to Duncan Lewis because of the firm's reputation and the opportunity to gain extensive practical experience in the areas of interest.
