Immigration

Yanks Darboe joined Duncan Lewis in September 2010, as an immigration and asylum accredited caseworker in our Shepherds Bush Branch. He is a Level 2 Senior Immigration and Asylum Accredited Caseworker under the Law Society Accreditation Scheme and has over 2 years work experience in immigration work.

Yanks’ work is concentrated in preparing and presenting immigration and asylum appeals and has experience conducting advocacy at all levels of the IAC Tribunal.

Yanks joined Duncan Lewis’s advocacy and reconsideration team in order to obtain more experience in publicly funded work assisting asylum seekers and Human Rights cases.

Yanks graduated with LLB (Hons) Degree from the University Wolverhampton in 2006 and completed the Legal Practicing Course at the London Metropolitan University in 2008. He is currently studying Arabic language in London.

Yanks is fluent in Mandinka and Wolof languages. He loves watching football and a huge fan of Arsenal.
