Emma joined Duncan Lewis in September 2011 and is currently working as an IAAS Level 2 accredited caseworker in the advocacy team. She is enjoying her work in a broad range of asylum and immigration matters.
After completing a law degree, Emma spent a year working in Immigration, Labour, and Health Law in Albany, New York. This provided an exciting opportunity to compare legal systems and practice.
On returning to the UK, Emma completed the Bar Vocational Course at the City Law School and then worked for the Immigration Advisory Service, in their Liverpool office as a Level 1 accredited caseworker.
