Opinder graduated from City University London in 2009 with a LLB Law Degree, obtaining a 2:1 She then went on to her Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School and successfully completed it in 2011.

Opinder joined Duncan Lewis in January 2012, as a Housing Caseworker. Opinder was attracted to the Housing Department at Duncan Lewis as she enjoys dealing with landlord and tenant matters and furthermore the Civil Litigation aspects which are involved. Opinder has been involved with many cases ranging from Disrepair to Possession, providing her with constant challenges in work, which she welcomes! Opinder was attracted to join Duncan Lewis due to the important publically funded work they carry out in many different areas of law. With Duncan Lewis being the largest legal aid provider, and their reputation for success, Opinder felt that Duncan Lewis was a firm in which she would thrive. Opinder hopes to qualify as a Solicitor while she is at Duncan Lewis.

Opinder, in her spare time enjoys swimming and playing badminton.

She is fluent in Punjabi and Hindi.
