Family

Manveen qualified as a Solicitor in February 2004. She is a family law solicitor and joined Duncan Lewis in January 2008 as a solicitor in the firm's Family department at the Hackney office.

Manveen specialises in divorce and Ancillary Relief matters but will also undertake some Domestic Violence and private law Children Act cases. Manveen has worked on medium to large money cases including trusts, pensions and assets abroad. She advises both private and public funded clients. Manveen has also dealt with schedule 1 children Act cases as well as Sec 13 of Matrimonial and Family Proceedings Act for financial relief for decrees obtained aboard.

Manveen is a volunteer at the voluntary organisation called Rights of Women where she gives telephone advise to women on all aspects of Family Law. Manveen can read, write and speak Punjabi and she speaks some Hindi and Urdu.

Manveen is a member of the Law Society's Family Law Panel.
