Duncan Lewis Solicitors continue outstanding pro bono and community work with fortnightly legal advice surgery at TCWP (6 March 2014)

At Duncan Lewis, we continue our commitment to pro bono and community work with requested fortnightly legal advice surgery at TCWP.
Following the delivery of a successful training session on the legal aid changes at the Turkish Cypriot Women’s Project from Duncan Lewis Solicitors’ Emine Mehmet and Hanife Djemal, we have now been requested to deliver a regular fortnightly legal advice surgery at the TCWP.
In line with our record of providing pro bono and community work, we began the legal advice surgery on the 18th February 2014 with the delivery of advice on Family and Housing Law matters.
The turnout for the legal surgery was large and our Solicitors assisted a number of vulnerable clients.
We are looking forward to delivering more legal surgeries and helping even more vulnerable clients with our continued work with the TCWP.
