Satvir joined the Immigration department at Duncan Lewis in February 2009 and was attracted to the firm due to its reputation and range of publicly funded work.

Satvir graduated from London South Bank University in 2007 with 2:1 in Law and went on to do her LPC at BPP Law School, which she completed in 2008.

Satvir is an accredited senior caseworker under the Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme and this enables her to deal with all aspects of publicly funded immigration and asylum cases.

Satvir deals with detained clients, which involves attending to clients in immigration detention centres and prisons to assist them in their immigration/asylum matter.

Satvir’s experience ranges from assisting clients in making applications to the Home Office to regularise their stay to preparation of appeals.

Satvir is fluent in Punjabi and Hindi.
