Rajni graduated from Khalsa College, India in 1999 with an honours degree in BA (English literature). Then she went on to do her MA at Government College, India.

Rajni moved to UK in 2002. She has always wanted to pursue her career in law. In 2004, she decided to study further and started studying for Common Professional Examination. Rajni went on to do her LPC at the University of Westminster and completed it in 2008 with commendation.

She has also passed Immigration Accreditation Level 1. Rajni used to work at Nandy & Co Solicitors as a paralegal. Her work included visiting detention centres and prisons. She joined Duncan Lewis & Co Solicitors in August 2009. Rajni was attracted to the firm due to the range of public funded work and the quality of services it provides.

Her aim is to pass Level 2 and to qualify as a solicitor.

Rajni also speaks Hindi and Punjabi.
