Comfort graduated from the University of the West of England Bristol in 2006 with an LLB Hons Law degree. She went on to complete BVC at the Inns of Court School of Law in Holborn, London in May 2007.

In August 2007 Comfort commenced work as a Litigation paralegal at Rutherford Solicitors in the firm’s consumer debt department.

In February 2008 she began studying for the New York Bar and began working part time as a legal assistant/advocate for an Independent Mental Health Hospital. This inspired her to pursue a career in Mental Health Law.

Comfort was keen to work for Duncan Lewis due to the firm’s outstanding reputation, rate of expansion and the firm’s commitment to providing publicly funded work.

She hopes to cross qualify as a Solicitor with Duncan Lewis and to become a Mental Health Tribunal Panel Member.
