Child Care

Sherma joined Duncan Lewis in January 2012 and is currently a Caseworker in the Family and Child Care Law Department at the Shepherds Bush office.

Sherma read Law and American Studies at the University of Sussex and completed her LPC with Distinction at the College of Law, Bloomsbury taking electives in Family, Commercial and Advanced Property Law.

Sherma went on to gain experience in Personal Injury Law at a national firm and subsequently volunteered as a Housing Caseworker at the Lambeth Law Centre dealing with disrepair cases for vulnerable clients. Sherma also has commercial experience working in City firms, and family and planning law experience in a local government legal department.

Sherma had a wide range of experience working with children, young people and families from her work as a Playworker, youth Worker and Study Support Assistant which gained her a Millennium Award for Service to the Community.
