Child Care

Nathalie graduated from the London School of Economics with a BA (HONS) Law and anthropology and did the Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of law. Nathalie also did a Stage at the European Commission in Brussels.

Nathalie joined Duncan Lewis in May 2003 as a Non-Practising Barrister within the Immigration Department. She did the Qualified Lawyer Transfer Test and was admitted as a Solicitor in July 2004. Nathalie continued her career with the firm in the Child Care team at the Hackney office.

Nathalie has been specialising in family and children law since qualifying as a Solicitor in 2004. She is a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel and specialises in representation of children, parents, grandparents and other relatives in both public law cases (including special guardianship orders, care orders, supervision orders and emergency orders); and private law cases involving residence and contact disputes, specific issues and prohibited steps parental responsibility agreements. In addition, she also deals with adoption within the UK and overseas and paternity disputes.

Nathalie is also qualified under the Law Society’s Immigration & Asylum Accreditation Scheme as a Senior Caseworker, which also allows her to specialise in Immigration & Nationality law and provide specialist legal help for publicly funded work under the firm’s Legal Services Commission franchise.

Nathalie is fluent in the French and Creole languages.

Nathalie is also a Notary Public having completed the Post-graduate diploma in notarial practice.
