Maria graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a 2:1 degree in Psychology and then worked in recruitment and assessment before relocating to Michigan, USA in 2003.

During her time in America Maria became involved with the Child Abuse & Neglect Council, and worked as a Volunteer Court Appointed Child Advocate. This experience was the catalyst which prompted her to pursue a career in Law.

On her return to the UK, Maria studied part time for the Graduate Diploma in Law, at the College of Law, London, whilst working full time in recruitment. She then went on to complete the LPC in 2008.

Maria joined Duncan Lewis in June 2009 as a Caseworker, where she is based in the Family department, and hopes to secure a training contract in the near future.

Maria was attracted to Duncan Lewis because they are an expanding firm which offers excellent training opportunities.

In her spare time Maria enjoys spending time with her two young children, and is an active committee member of the Hellenic Greek School of Finchley where she is involved in fundraising. Maria also undertakes Pro Bono work at her local Citizens Advice Bureau.
