Laki graduated from Queen Mary, University of London 2004 with an Honours degree in Law. She went on to do her LPC at the College of Law in London and completed it in 2005.

She has previously worked on a childhood abuse class action involving the Cambridgeshire County Council who was sued for vicarious liability of their employees who had abused children at a school for delinquent children based in Peterborough. A settlement figure of 1.8 million was achieved from the litigation.

Laki is particularly interested in travelling and enjoys activities such as swimming and tennis.

She is a member of the Law Society.

She joined Duncan Lewis in March 2009 as a Caseworker in the Family Department, having gained previous work experience in this area of law and thereby developing a particular interest in this field.

Laki was particularly attracted to this firm due to its commitment to the principle of equality of opportunity.

She is also fluent speaker of Bengali.

She is particularly impressed by Duncan Lewis's diverse client base, which are of a multicultural background.

Laki would like to see an increase in Duncan Lewis's private client base.
