Child Care

Kohitoor graduated from Queen Mary and Westfield College London in 1999 with LLB Hons and went to work at the Bar Pro Bono Unit as a Caseworker. In 2001 she went on to study her LPC at the College of Law in Guildford and after having completed the course worked as a paralegal in the Childcare department at a law firm in Southampton.

She initially joined the firm in November 2002 as a Paralegal in the Family department. Kohitoor then gained her training contract and sat three seats in Family, Employment and Housing. She then qualified as a Solicitor in May 2005 and worked as an Solicitor in the Family department. Kohitoor left the firm in October 2007 to work for a firm in Tooting. She then re-joined Duncan Lewis. in August 2008 as a Solicitor in the Child Care department in the Clapham Junction branch.

Kohitoor is experienced in family and private law children work. She also carries out work on divorce, ancillary relief and co-habitation. Kohitoor was initially attracted to Duncan Lewis due to its diversity of staff and the variety of departments that the firm practices in.

Kohitoor speaks fluent Bengali.
