Child Care

Dounia graduated from Kingston University in 2007 with an Honours degree in Law. She went on to do her LPC at the College of Law in London and completed it in 2008.

In October 2008 Dounia joined Duncan Lewis as a Child Care Caseworker.

She was attracted to the firm because of its progressive nature, the high quality client care provided and impressive reputation.

Whilst at University Dounia helped to run the Kingston University Student Advice Clinic, as part of her Clinical Research module. Dounia was a volunteer at the Clinic for one year and offered Students and staff advice once a week.

In her spare time Dounia enjoys going to the theatre, swimming, travelling, socialising with her friends and family and is interested in current affairs.

Dounia has been trained to become an Independent Visitor by Action for Children. This role entails befriending and mentoring a child in care. Dounia also took part in Race for Life, to raise money for cancer research.
