Child Care

Angela graduated with a LLB Hons degree in 2003. She then worked as a family Caseworker at Camden firm Osbornes for 1 year where she gained experience assisting in private and public law children matters. Angela then took some time out to travel around Asia and upon her return completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in London in 2006 receiving a commendation. Angela started work at Duncan Lewis in November 2006 as a Caseworker in the Child Care department.

Since joining Duncan Lewis Angela gained experience dealing with her own caseload of children matters. Angela has experience representing parents and and other family relatives in care proceedings. She also has experience dealing with Special Guardianship Order applications as well as contact and residence disputes as well as specific issue and prohibited steps applications.

Angela also has experience of and enjoys the challenges of conducting her own advocacy. Angela commenced her training contract in May 2008 and to date has completed seats in the Childcare and Mental Health departments.

Angela has now qualified as a solicitor specialising in Family & Child Care work.
