Ofsted has launched point-in-time questionnaires for social care services, to enable users to give their views on children’s homes, fostering services, adoption agencies, adoption support agencies or residential family centres up to 3 April 2016.
Ofsted is hoping to garner as many different views as possible via the online questionnaires – including the opinions of children and young people, adults who use services, staff, parents, and carers and professionals about the effectiveness and quality of services they use or provide.
The feedback aims to help Ofsted prepare for inspections, as well as informing decisions about when to inspect.
A link to the questionnaire will be provided from service providers’ websites, including children’s homes, fostering services, adoption agencies, adoption support agencies or residential family centres. If the link is not available, service users should contact their service provider and ask if they can send the link.
Service users can also contact Ofsted directly on 0300 123 1231 or enquiries@ofsted.gov.uk to give their feedback on services.
