Sophia Hussain

I am a Solicitor in the Family and Child Care Department at Duncan Lewis. I am based in the firm's Bradford office, and I represent clients throughout the North of England.

I undertake work in all areas of Family and Child Care matters. I have a wealth of experience representing both Applicant’s and Respondent’s in complex private law children matters, domestic abuse cases, and divorce proceedings.

I also have significant experience representing clients in care proceedings which involve allegations of non-accidental injury, sexual abuse, neglect and failure to protect from harm.

Additionally, I have assisted clients in deprivation of liberty proceedings, wardship proceedings and opposing adoption orders.

I represent clients from various backgrounds, including the most vulnerable, and those with difficulties ranging from drug and alcohol addiction to complex health needs.

I am a recommended individual in the Legal 500 2023 for my excellent client care and passion for going above and beyond to achieve the best outcome for my clients.

I have previous experience in personal injury and commercial property work.

I am fluent in both Urdu and Punjabi.
